Full time/PermanentThe Breast Care Services Department at Dunedin Hospital and the Breast Screening Department at Southland Hospital welcome applications for the position of Clinical Leader.
In this role, you will be responsible for the overall clinical performance of the Breast Screening Programme and the Otago Diagnostic Mammography Service, and ensure the Service complies fully with the National Quality Standards for Breast Screening Aotearoa.
This is a leadership role, and you will have had experience in a similar position or be enthusiastic to take the next step in your career. You will have a strong interest in Women’s Health and extensive experience reporting films, images in Mammography, and undertaking and reporting on diagnostic and interventional procedures in Mammography.
The Service has full Digital Radiology in fixed sites and analogue on mobile Screening Units. The Service undertakes Breast MRI, and full training can be given. Opportunities to work also in General Radiology are negotiable.
Dunedin Hospital has a close relationship with the University of Otago Medical School, and we place emphasis on our role as a Teaching Hospital. As such, there will be opportunities for you to pass on your knowledge and be involved in our Registrar Training Programme.
Fellowship with RANZCR or the equivalent is essential, and you must be eligible for vocational registration with the NZ Medical Council. Candidates from the UK with suitable experience are encouraged to apply.
